BDS vs. Managed Services

Two of the primary services we offer include Bluescope Direct Support (BDS) and Managed Services.

• Bluescope Direct Support (BDS) is essentially a prepaid block of hours that can be used against a number of support services.
• Managed Services is when Bluescope would assume responsibility over your business’s IT infrastructure for a fixed monthly/annual fee. In essence, it’s like having an in-house IT department but without the exponential cost of hiring an entire IT department.

BDS is a good option for businesses who meet the following criteria:

• Small businesses that don’t require regular IT support
• Aim to keep costs low
• Assurance that if you do require IT support, it is available to you
• Infrequent IT support such as fixing printers, emails, website administration
• Periodic IT and security checkups, where necessary

Pricing for BDS starts at €400 (excl. VAT) and includes 10 prepaid hours of IT support. Our BDS packages are valid for 1 year from date of purchase.
