Backup and Disaster Recovery

Whether you have just fallen victim to data loss or would like to protect yourself from potential threats, we can help.

Data loss can come from hardware failure, ransomware, fire or flood, or simply a file deleted by mistake. A backup gets your data back. Disaster recovery gets your business working again. We can help with both.

A desktop, laptop, and a server transmit and backup data to a cloud.

Our image-based backup solution can be deployed in a matter of minutes, either remotely or on-site.

Data is the most critical aspect to businesses today, yet we unfortunately overlook how we safeguard this data.

At Bluescope, we can help you maintain business continuity, even in the event of a disaster.

How Backup, Disaster Recovery and Continuity Fit Together

Backup is a copy of your data kept somewhere safe. Our Managed Backup takes an image-based backup of each workstation or server, including the operating system, applications, files and folders, and stores it offsite in our EU datacentres. It is available to business clients on a Managed Services Agreement or Bluescope Direct Support. Disaster recovery is getting your systems back after something goes wrong. Because the backup is a copy of the whole machine, we can restore the entire system after a failure, or recover individual files and folders when that is all you need. Business continuity planning is the plan around it: which systems matter most, who does what, and how your business keeps working while recovery happens. Learn about business continuity planning.

Disaster Recovery

Disaster recovery is how your business gets working again after a serious incident, such as a failed server, a ransomware attack, or a fire or flood at your premises.

Our Managed Backup is built for this. Each backup is an image of the whole workstation or server, including the operating system, applications, files and folders. That means we can carry out a bare-metal recovery, rebuilding the complete system rather than reinstalling everything by hand, or recover only the files and folders you need.

Because it is a managed service, we install and maintain your backup and recovery for a fixed monthly fee. Protecting several computers or servers? Contact us for a quotation, as discounts apply for multiple devices.
