Bluescope was approached by an Australian-based company named Tasting Venue in early July 2015 to discuss the development of a website for their business.
Tasting Venue is an establishment which hosts food and drink events in a stylish venue. Tasting Venue comprises of Artisan Tasting Lounge and Methuselah’s Cellar – two unique event spaces created to provide the very best facility on the Lower Northshore, Sydney. Specifically built to host tastings whether they be wine, whisky or craft beer, the venues also easily accommodate a variety of functions and room layouts. Each space can be hired separately or both together and come fully equipped to the highest standard.
Tasting Venue did not previously operate a website and required their new website to accommodate for the promotion of upcoming food and drink events throughout Australia. The website now operates as an e-booking platform in which users can register for an account to reserve and purchase their tickets to exclusive food and drink events through the website.
The Tasting Venue website took Bluescope approximately two months to complete and the website went live in August 2015.
Bluescope provided training to the Tasting Venue team to illustrate how to use the backend of the website in the event they would need to use it – for example, editing an upcoming event. Bluescope retained Tasting Venue as a client by availing of our Website Administration Service, which outsources all website maintenance to Bluescope. We provide Tasting Venue with regular updates, content changes, backups, software upgrades, and much more each month. As a result of this service, Tasting Venue can spend less time operating their website and spend more time planning events and growing their business.
