Smudge Studio

Bluescope was approached by Smudge Studio in August 2020 to discuss a website development project for their new business. The website was to primarily be an e-commerce/online shop so that Smudge Studio had a platform to sell their fantastic products.

Smudge Studio are passionate about sourcing the finest quality in naturally formed earth treasures from around the world.

As this would be a new website, we worked with Smudge Studio to purchase the domain, smudgestudio.ie and set up a website with a simple ‘Coming Soon’ landing page that could be shown to end-users while we built the website in the background.

We worked closely with Smudge Studio to build the website they envisioned, sporting a multitude of products across various categories, and including a very clear menu structure that end-users could easily navigate. The new website includes fully mobile-responsive menus which allows their customers to view on any mobile device.

Payment processing was set up and configured to ensure that payments made through the website are processed through a secure payment gateway.

Prior to going live, all best SEO practices were put in place to assist this new website reach it’s highest potential in search engine rankings. The Smudge Studio website has been running smoothly since its launch in November 2021.
