Bluescope was contacted by Bourke Malone Accountants in June 2020 to discuss a website project for their accountancy firm. Bourke Malone Accountants (BMA) previously operated a website on the Wix platform. Unfortunately, Wix is not as versatile when it comes to editing or adding to your website. Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress offer you much more functionality and flexibility to achieve exactly what you want from a website, in a user-friendly environment.

The aim of this new website was to promote brand awareness of the many great services that BMA offer to their customers. The website was to have a fresh design with mobile friendliness in mind. Furthermore, the new website was to include an online booking system where users of the site could easily book a consultation with BMA for one of their services.

Bourke Malone is an accountancy practice based in the heart of Limerick City. They offer a personal approach in providing accountancy, payroll, taxation and training solutions to various clients from new start up’s and sole trades to medium sized companies.

The new BMA website was developed in a staging environment and was built with mobile-responsiveness in mind, which allows their customers to view on any mobile device. The online booking system is visible on every page via the main menu and customers/potential customers can easily book an appointment that suits their schedule. Furthermore, the booking system is linked with BMA’s Outlook calendar, therefore any appointments booked are added immediately to their calendar. This works as a two-way system, in the sense that BMA’s availability is added to their calendar and this syncs with the website’s schedule.

The new website included all SEO best practices to ensure that the BMA website will be seen across Search Engines.
